Working with NSW Government

Creating Prosperity in NSW

AIIA believes that the NSW Government needs to help grow ICT companies in NSW, and to encourage the uptake of their ICT products and services by NSW businesses, government agencies, and communities.

New South Wales’ prosperity is increasingly governed and enhanced by the products and services of the ICT industry. This means NSW businesses are achieving higher growth and productivity through ICT innovations.

Political parties in NSW must take a leading role in promoting and using ICT to stimulate innovation, competitiveness, and prosperity across all industries in New South Wales.

Our advocacy

We conduct programs associated with representing our industry to NSW Government Ministers, government officials, and NSW politicians.

AIIA works with the NSW Government to remove market inhibitors and develop programs and policies to create a better business environment in NSW.

The NSW Committee regularly represents our industry to NSW Government ministers, politicians and officials. Company representatives are welcome to participate in our Branch’s policy programs.

AIIA's NSW policy charters

AIIA’s NSW Committee has a series of strategic statements, called charters, stating the association’s positions on key areas needed to develop a strong ICT industry in NSW and Australia.

These Charters are publicly available and used by AIIA when meeting with politicians, key groups and when making input into NSW Government’s business development programs.
