NSW Education and Employment SIG

NSW Education and Employment Special Interest Group

AIIA’s NSW Education and Employment SIG assists AIIA members to:

  • identify who are the buyers and buying groups in this sector,
  • understand education buyers’ buying strategies (particularly useful for smaller companies which have limited capacity to research this marketplace),
  • connect with business opportunities, developments and contacts,
  • develop opportunities for early engagement with education and training organisations,
  • promote their capabilities in ICT solutions and services to education and training buyers, and
  • create a shared forum for ICT organisations with a education and training focus.

People from industry participating in this SIG are education sales, account and development managers, government account managers and analysts, e-learning and e-government account managers, HR, education and recruitment managers, ecommerce technical and business managers.

Our SIG meetings typically cover sector developments: business issues, drivers and constraints; buyer identification, and sector research.

Meetings are held monthly, usually the third Wednesday, from 1030–1200, in Sydney.

AIIA Education and Training ICT Business Forums

This SIG also runs our Education and Training ICT Business Forums, identifying topics of commercial interest and speakers to offer helpful insights into their plans, their buying models, and their preferences in dealing with ICT vendors.
