AIIA and the NSW Department of State and Regional Development (DSRD) have developed a collaborative cluster for like-minded ICT companies within the North Sydney-North Ryde corridor to improve business opportunities and company growth.
Our participants
- CEOs and Managing Directors of smaller companies
- Regional and state managers of larger companies
- Senior executives, commercial account managers, business development managers, business analysts, consultants, distribution and channel managers
While the emphasis is on the ICT industry within the North Sydney-North Ryde corridor, the cluster is not restricted to this region, and we welcome participation from any interested companies in NSW.
Our program
Cluster capability register
CollabIT participants can advertise their capabilities in the CollabIT Capability Register to promote their specific skills and learn of potential synergies with other companies.
Clustering collaborative technology
ICT companies are examining the web as a platform to help them in collaborating and partnering with other like-minded companies.
We provide information and briefings about social networking, wikis, webinars and inventive business models to assist companies to utilise these Web 2.0 developments for business purposes.
Economies of scale
Work in partnership with other cluster companies to create buying potential which normally would be possible only for larger companies.
Multinational partnering opportunities
CollabIT's multinational partnering events can help unlock collaborative opportunities with large ICT companies. You'll hear speakers from multinational corporations talk about their partnering programs and learn more about barriers, success factors and case studies of successful relationships. Multinational corporations also share subcontracting, supply and partnering opportunities and seek interest from the CollabIT network.
CollabIT networking and event meetings
CollabIT networking events and meetings are managed to provide effective networking and introductions to others participating in CollabIT.
Trade missions and tradeshows
Trade missions provide opportunities for cluster participants to explore export market opportunities through collaboration. By joining forces within CollabIT, your company can leverage AIIA's purchasing power to reduce costs at specific tradeshows.
Researching ICT opportunities in the retail marketplace
Our Retail Market Special Interest Group is for those companies interested in selling ICT products and services into the retail marketplace. Australia’s retail markets consists of automotive, household durable goods, textiles, apparel and leisure equipment, hotels, restaurants and other leisure facilities, media production and services and consumer retailing manufacturers and distributors of food, beverages and tobacco and producers of non-durable household goods and personal products, and food and drug retailing companies.
