Legal Forum

AIIA's Legal Forum is comprised of lawyers and policy-makers from across the ICT industry. The forum's activities include:

  • guiding AIIA's lobbying activities on relevant issues, for example making submissions and other representations on policy issues
  • providing information and expert speakers on issues of interest to forum members
  • providing technology and business updates to assist lawyers providing services to ICT clients
  • providing AIIA members and affiliates with a forum for the discussion of legal issues affecting the ICT industry
  • networking with in-house and external advisers.

Participation

The AIIA Legal Forum includes lawyers and policy-makers active in shaping legal issues affecting the ICT industry. Participation in AIIA's Legal Forum is open to in-house counsel, external counsel and non-lawyers from AIIA member or affiliate companies.

Meetings

Meetings are held regularly in Sydney at forum members' premises in the City or North Sydney area. Arrangements for teleconferencing are made as necessary.
