AIIA is often approached by event organisers to endorse their events and activities. We ask any organisations seeking endorsement to make a proposal on the AIIA Endorsement Application Form (120K DOC) and forward it to Jana Keith, AIIA Marketing Coordinator, (02) 6281 9414.
Endorsement criteria
In pitching your endorsement opportunity to AIIA, you should consider the following criteria:
- What benefits does the event provide to the ICT industry in Australia?
- How does your event align with AIIA’s ValueICT strategy?
- How does your event complement AIIA’s own event program?
- What is the relevancy of the event to AIIA and its members?
- What is the background of the event organiser?
- What are the resources of the event?
- What other partners are involved in the event?
- What benefits will be provided to AIIA for endorsing your event?
AIIA’s endorsement expectations
- An endorsement fee is payable for any promotion of an external event to the AIIA database (the sum of the endorsement fee depends on the extent of the agreement)
- A discount for AIIA’s members to attend the event of at least 10%
- AIIA’s logo to appear on all event collateral under the words: 'Proudly supported by'
- A description of AIIA in all event collateral and on the event website (this will be provided by AIIA’s Communications Manager)
- A link to the AIIA website from the event website
- Two delegate passes to the event for AIIA’s staff.
What can AIIA provide?
AIIA endorsed events receive the following benefits:
- Promotion of the event through AIIA’s Bulletin and to AIIA’s database of more than 5,000 key ICT industry personnel.
- Promotion of the event on AIIA’s online event calendar with a link to your own site
- Request to AIIA’s branches to provide promotions of the event through their state events
- The opportunity to send your event flyer to AIIA’s database by mail. AIIA expects the event organiser to pay for all direct mailing costs, including internal administration.
